Regular Activities of Campus

Quality education and tranquil environment lure the students. It has experience and professional faculties, well equipped library, spacious classrooms, rich computer lab etc. It has become a place for the students to come and learn, share and transform knowledge.

We organize various kinds of educational and co-curricular activities for the students for their personality/ skill development. Students are encouraged to come in uniform. They must maintain regularity and punctuality. They are inspired for communal activities organized by the campus.
The regular activities of campus are as follows:
1. Mass Presentation:
Introduction:

Mass Presentation is the part of Academic program. It develops students’ skill of presenting in mass so that they can speak confidently on any subject matter. This is the key that develops competency in students which assists students to grab opportunities. Students participating in Mass Presentation in one hand; be more practical of speaking in a mass and in another hand they are always prepared with their subject matter. This assists them to present their knowledge and learn listening from others to some extent.

Four parts of Presentation session:

While presenting on any subject matter students must be attentive and they must follow some crucial facts as follows:
Starting of the presentation - Salutation, introduction, enter the subject matter
Subject Matter Presentation - Core and precise presentation
Body Language - Eye Contact
Ending - Conclusion

Four Keys for mass presentation:

The four main key points for mass presentation are:
· students must be Confident
· Students must be Fluent
· Students must be Well Prepared
· Students must have Commanding Voice

Hall Environment:

Mass Presentation hall will be divided into three parts:
· Audience pool [Students]
· Presenting Dash [Presenter]
· Teachers’ desk [Subject teachers/Evaluator]


Evaluation:
Subject Teachers will be provided with evaluation chart. Teachers must be present on their subject presentation because on behalf of above criteria they have to evaluate their students. Moreover, students will be awarded annually for best presentation.

2. Individual progress report:

It is a platform for the students where they can express their views in a friendlier way with the academic director of the Campus on any issues. It is organized once a months making the students in different groups. On the other hand, rules and regulations are made, taking the opinions of the students for the students. It is a place where students interact with the director for learning and sharing views. This program helps the students to become close with the campus environment. Students are encouraged to put their views and new ideas openly without any hesitation. It is also a part of counseling for the students.

3. Paper writing
This part is totally based on practice for writing skill. Without writing skill, students can not compete in the 21st century. It is a program organized once in two weeks. Students are given questions by subject teachers and within two weeks, they prepare a paper based on research. It makes students practice for board examination too. Boxes on different subjects are kept for the collection of papers. Students are not allowed to drop the papers after the due date.

4. Terminal / Pre-board Examination
We organize monthly as well as terminal examinations for the betterment of students. Exam is a part for practice of knowledge. Students express their learnt views and ideas in papers within limited time in the examination. It is another program on the skill development for writing skill. All the students are encouraged to take exam. We have five system (Rs.250/- per paper) for the students those who do not appear in the examination. Fine system is not to discourage but encourage student to participate in exam.

5. Excursion / Educational tour

It is also one of the regular activities of Shikharapur Campus. Students learn a lot from Educational tours. This kind of activity is necessary to broaden the knowledge of students. It helps students for learning Sharing and exchanging ideas from different places. Picnic is also a part of excursion.

6. Interaction Program

This Campus creates an environment for the students to exchange and interact ideas and views with other students through interaction program. We have links with various colleges like St. Xavier's , Kadambari, Classic, K & K, National Collage, IOE, IOM etc. In this program, students learn, share and exchange ideas with new people in a friendly environment on the other hand, students organize various kinds cultural programs on the occasion of students day Dashain, New Year, Aids day etc for entertainment as well as public
