Introduction:
SSDC is a skill development unit of A School for Community (ASC) funded by Embassy of Finland and community participation. It is designed to empower deprived youth and women in village level. Our key target is to nurture professional skill among them. With out skills in hand, education only can't access people to job. So, the project intends to train youths and women which create employment in their household by themselves.
Vision:
"Youth and women are self-employed with utilization of resources of their own environment."
Objectives:
• Provide skill development opportunities to youth and women from disadvantaged communities.
• Bring positive change in the society through shared opportunities.
• Create appropriate environment of self-employment for the trainees.
Working Area:
Kathmandu: Chalnakhel, Setidevi, Sheshnarayan, Dakshinkali, Talku Dundechaur, Chhaimale VDCs
Makawanpur: Phakhel, Kulekhani, Markhu, Chitlang, Sisneri VDCs
